Kazuki Azuma of Chemical R&D Division Presented at The 12th Process Chemistry Lounge of The Japanese Society of Process Chemistry

At The 12th Process Chemistry Lounge, held at the Yugawara Traning Center of Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd., on December 1 – 2, 2017, Kazuki Azuma of Chemical R&D Division gave a lecture on “Development of a Highly Enantionselective Synthesis of trans-3-Amino-4-hydroxytetrahydropyran”.

The presentation focused on process development to scale up synthesis utilizing asymmetric hydrogen transfer reactions, which is one of the asymmetric synthesis technologies owned by SPERA PHARMA .

After the lecture, a lot of questions were enthusiastically asked by the attendees and we could understand that many attendees were interested in SPERA PHARMA’s technological capabilities and their high level. We will continue to contribute to the creation of superior and innovative medicines by responding to customer’s requests and expectations through our research capabilities and the synthetic technologies accumulated so far.
